HUNTER UNDERGROUND: PENNYWISE

December 2–4, 2026 | Hunter College | Upcoming Performance Role: Creator, Drag Performer, Character Designer, Creative Director Status: In development. Scheduled for December 2026. An original horror-drag performance being developed for Hunter Underground’s December 2026 student showcase, where I am scheduled to present the showcase’s first drag act. Drawing from Stephen King’s Pennywise and the mythology of the Deadlights, the piece reimagines the dancing clown through camp, theatrical horror, drag, and character-driven storytelling. The performance explores the space between childhood fear, spectacle, glamour, and monstrosity. My creative process includes developing an original sound mix, character voice and physicality, costume and makeup design, choreography, and practical theatrical effects. The concept incorporates a news-report opening and a circus-inspired musical direction, transforming familiar horror imagery into an original Ethereal Sacrilege performance. Public-facing working title until the final performance title is confirmed.
